Before you become a Referee you should think about:
- What level of games do you want to be doing for the next year or so?
- How much time do you want to commit to the training?
- What level of competition would you eventually like to officiate?
If you want to become a Referee in Eastern PA, candidates must be at least 14 years old before the first class, in order to obtain the required background clearances.
NOTE: As a referee you are considered an Independent Contractor with your respective Assignor and are not employed with any of the State Organizations (EPSA, EPYSA, EPSARC). Hence, employment verification will not be made by any of the above named organizations.
